We had an awesome week with my dear friend Callie and her boys, Carson and Bennett. They drove all the way from Spokane to visit us while their dad tore out some walls in their house which they are remodeling. Callie and I talked until our throats were parched, which we quenched with some sangria, and talked some more. The boys had a blast together which is awesome, but now they may be asking to come along on our girl's weekends (they won't be). We had a great time at the zoo, the big park in Laurel, and playing in the pool. The boys also introduced Carson and Bennett to the train table at Carter's brewery. Poor Carson was incredibly tolerant of Liam since for the life of him could not stop calling him "Car' ton" (pronounced with a George W Bush accent). I hope he still answers to his real name.

Carson was also the voice of conscience when the following conversation was overheard.
Liam "Let's jump on the bed Carson!"
Carson "I think your dad said we weren't supposed to."
Liam "Yeah, but he can't see us so it's okay!"
We received some wonderful news while they were here when we heard that our wonderful friend Andi and Eric welcomed their baby boy Maxwell Edison into the world! Carson and Bennett have a new cousin!
As usual, Callie and I didn't get a photo together until they were about to leave. Thank you Callie for spending 18 hours in a car with two boys so that we could spend the week together. Love you! Come again soon!
